Williams PTO to host 5k and 1 mile run, walk

Arland D. Williams Jr. Elementary School PTO is hosting a 5k and 1-mile C O L O R run/walk March 16 at Williams Elementary School.  All participants will receive a performance shirt and a finish medal for participating.  The after party will include bounce houses, a DJ, face painting, and much more! Picture re-take scheduled Oct. 25

Mattoon High School picture re-take day is scheduled for Thursday, October 25 in the library from 7:40 a.m.-11 a.m. (end of 3rd period). Order forms will be available. If students want to exchange their photos, they will need to bring them on retake day.

MMS Eco Team places seventh

Mattoon Middle School ECo Team placed 7 out of 19 junior varsity teams. The meet was held at Camp Camfield in Sullivan. Students competed in events about insects, mammals, and turtles.

MMS, WES collecting socks for Socktober

Mattoon Middle School student council is hosting a Socktober event during the month of October. We encourage students to bring in new socks or “like new” socks for adults and children.
